Your Donations Change Lives

As we've shared in previous newsletters, your contribution has helped folks like Bill and Bekki’s family thrive. We are so grateful for all the ways in which our community comes together to support one another.

For many, the NECC is the only place they have a connection to another person in their day. While health and fitness may be what folks seek, it’s the relationships that endure and keep people coming back. It’s being greeted by staff that know your name, what’s going on with your family, or asking about what you did on the weekend. It’s members noticing when friends are missing from class and reaching out to make sure everything is okay.

It’s walking into a welcoming space that fosters physical, emotional, and social well-being—today and into the future.

We’re here for you—but we can’t do it without you. Whatever amount you choose, you will be investing in yourself, your friends, and your community.

Donate online today or stop by our Front Desk to learn how to make a lasting impact. Together, let’s keep our community strong for the next 20 years—and beyond.

💚 Help Support the NECC 💚

Did you know that your IRA and Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) could help NECC provide programs to our community?

What's an RMD?

This is taxable money you must withdraw each year from retirement accounts like IRAs once you reach age 72 (73 if you turned 72 in or after 2023).

Why Should I Donate My RMD?

If you have an RMD on your own account or an inherited account and you do not need the funds, donating to the NECC is a fantastic option that helps support our programs!

Your required withdrawal will be included in your taxable income and cannot be rolled into other tax-deferred accounts. However, donating your RMD is a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). Tax benefits aside, earmarking this income for charity is a great way to begin or expand your giving portfolio to support the causes you care about.

NECC's tax ID is 20-2154935
