Thanks to you, our Holiday Giving program was a huge success!
Every year, MCCH aspires to provide our clients with gifts for the holiday season through our  Holiday Giving program. We are proud to announce our 2018 gift drive was a huge success! With over $41,000 in donated gifts and more than 120 volunteer hours spent wrapping, our clients had a very happy holiday season!

Volunteers Needed for Annual PIT Count
The Point In Time (PIT) count is a nationwide HUD-mandated annual census of all people experiencing homelessness. The PIT count is critical to helping Montgomery County and MCCH identify the number of households experiencing homelessness and the resources needed to move them into stable housing.

Montgomery County is seeking volunteers to help with this survey in our community. This year's count will begin on Wednesday January 23 rd at 9 p.m. and end by 4 a.m. on Thursday January 24 t h.

Volunteers will begin the night with training and then go out in teams to designated locations throughout the county, where unsheltered people may be located.
If you are able to volunteer, please register by  filling out this form by January 21 st.
Donors Making a Difference
Due to limited financial resources, we aren't always able to provide clients with the items they need beyond basic necessities. That's where a special group of people in our Urgent Needs Task Force Facebook group jump in and provide these items!

In just one year, our Urgent Needs Task Force group has grown to 270 members and donated over 150 items! Although it may seem like a small gesture, donating these items shows our clients that their community cares about them. When recovering from the trauma of homelessness, that reminder can be a glimmer of light in the darkness.

You can make a difference in 2019 by joining our Facebook group today and bringing hope to the people we serve all year long!
Thank you for your commitment to ensuring that all Montgomery County residents have a safe, stable and affordable place to call home!
