Team,

Each year I look forward to gathering together as a campus community and celebrating the holiday season as a Bengal family. It goes without saying that this year will be different. I am sad that we will not be able to join together as a team, especially after the challenging year we have had. However, I still want to thank you for your hard work and celebrate our successes in weathering a tough year together.

I would like to invite all faculty and staff to briefly stop by a special holiday event, where all employees will receive an Idaho State branded gift. The details of the drop-in event are included below. I hope you will join us to celebrate the holidays.

Please know how much I appreciate everyone’s hard work and dedication this year. Thank you for working hard on behalf of our great University. I am proud to serve alongside each of you.

Happy Holidays!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pick up gifts for my coworkers?
Sure. If you would like to pick up gifts for others in your department who are unable to make it, please specify the number of bags you need when you arrive at pickup and provide your department name.

Will there be refreshments and a chance to socialize at the event?
Unfortunately, this year's event will not include refreshments or socializing. All employees are asked to only stay long enough to pick up their gift before leaving.

Can we carpool to the Pocatello drive-through event?
We discourage employees from carpooling due to COVID-19 physical distancing precautions. If you are already riding together in a University vehicle as part of your job duties, please remember to wear your masks.

I am unable to come to campus at the designated time. Can I still get my gift?
Yes! We want to make sure all employees have an opportunity to pick up their gift.

  • POCATELLO: feel free to stop by the President’s Office (Administration Building, Suite 264) any time between December 14 and January 22 during regular business hours. Please note that the office is closed between December 24 and January 1.

Can I walk through to get my gift in Pocatello?
In the interest of keeping everyone safe, please come through the drive-through line in a vehicle. Gifts can also be picked up after the drive-through event in the President's Office.

Does this include student employees?
Student employees are not included. This event only applies to active, benefitted employees (full time and part time).

What safety precautions will be taken?
All people handing out gifts will wear face coverings and gloves. All participants will maintain at least six feet of physical distance. We also ask that employees please wear face coverings when picking up their gift.
