New Blog: How Can Your Private Club Benefit From Outside Consultants?
In this latest GSI Executive Search blog, Ned Welc, CCM, CCE, highlights two key areas in which private clubs can greatly benefit from the expertise of outside consultants.
Is Your Employee Handbook Helping or Hindering Your Club?
An employee handbook is an essential tool for running a successful private club. So, when was the last time you reviewed your club’s handbook? Are you confident it addresses all of the club’s key operational components? Does it keep your club in compliance with the latest laws and regulations governing employment, compensation and other areas? Is it user friendly and designed to help employees understand with total clarity their roles, responsibilities and rights?
As part of our human resource consulting services, GSI Executive Search works with clubs around the country to help them structure employee handbooks that keep them compliant and strengthen employee engagement. For a free consultation,

GSI Executive Search Becomes Bronze CMAA Southwest Partner
These are exciting times for GSI Executive Search and our parent company, Ethos Club & Leisure as we continue to expand our presence and work throughout the Western and Southwestern U.S. As part of our deepening involvement and work in these regions, our firm recently became a Bronze partner with the Greater Southwest Chapter of CMAA.
Ned Welc Presents at CMAA Educational Forum
On November 18, GSI Executive Search Principal Ned Welc, CCM, CCE, presented an educational session on “How to Hire and Promote Top Department Heads for Your Club” to more than 40 attendees at Canterbury Golf Club in Beachwood, Ohio. The session focused on ways to distinguish high-performance employees from high-potential employees; how to prepare for and conduct an interview; developing interview questions; structured vs. unstructured interviews; and how selecting a manager with the ability to vary their management style benefits everyone.
The session was sponsored by the Greater Cleveland chapter of the CMAA’s 2019-2020 Educational Calendar.
