We hope you had a meaningful Thanksgiving. As we wrap up 2023, we want to highlight CWIB’s impact over the last few months. From awarding 11 scholarships to amazing Rutgers Business School students, to hosting our first conference, to giving women the tools and support they need to succeed, we are executing against our mission of removing barriers, building community and empowering women. Our goal is to engage with our community of scholars, executives and future business leaders, and it has been wonderful being able to meet many of you in-person at our events and connecting virtually as well. CWIB held its first conference on Friday, November 3^rd, bringing together leading scholars and industry executives to discuss women in hybrid and remote work. The conference showcased 2 keynotes, 10 integrated industry and academic panels and over 250 virtually and in-person attendees. In bridging industry and academia, we encouraged collaboration, provided a platform to share insights on women in remote and hybrid work, and generated momentum on what companies can do to support women who navigate these work environments. We are excited about the new research to come out of conference and the impact it will make in industry.
