Greetings from C. Darby Ulery, founder of "Let's Go! Fairhope" events-related newsletter, calendar and website resource for Fairhope, Alabama.
It was great to talk with Robin Smith, on behalf of Kim Jones, at Bay Music to find out the shop is going strong, and the students' annual FREE Christmas recital will be happening Monday, December 16 @ 6 pm at Baldwin County Youth Orchestra, located at 809 Nichols Ave. Please come out and show your support.
Shout out to the team at Page & Palette for scheduling King Heron for a music session December 20th. This will no doubt be an important show after the world lost beloved, highly talented musician Adam Holt, previously scheduled to be on stage that evening. Hope to see you there.
Andolyn Fitzgerald called and spoke about the inaugural 5K being organized by the Hope Community in collaboration with the Mobile Bay Makers Market: "Proceeds from the 'Our Roots Run Deep' 5K will help fund the development, creation and maintenance of a teaching farm, kitchen, gardens, and community center at the Anna T. Jeanes property, as well as at the Middle and Young St. property in Fairhope South."
The week before a holiday is often light in terms of scheduled events as everyone is usually busy preparing, but this week is feeling quite festive with plenty of happenings.

Special thanks to WABF Radio for continuously helping unite our community through daily information including local interviews, events-news, call-in opportunities, and more. The saying "You never know what you're going to hear" on WABF, is true. Especially if you haven't done so already, I encourage you to listen live online weekdays at 8 AM by pressing "Listen Live" at the top of https://wabf1480.com. Stick around for Swap Shop at 9:05 am, then enjoy the music all day long.

I already have WABF Radio app on my phone (icon above), so I'm not sure if I can accurately check this myself: It's been reported that the app may be missing from app stores...
Please take a moment to search (Apple & Androids), and give a shout regarding whether or not it appears and is able to be downloaded? I'll share the feedback with the station and perhaps focus on the online streaming option (sans the app) if it has indeed disappeared.
***Anyone who replies with information will be entered into a drawing for a Cammie's Old Dutch Ice Cream Shoppe gift certificate.*** : ) Thank you in advance!
120 events were uploaded to the searchable electronic calendar for the week ahead; many of these are included in the printable PDF list. Both tools are available on the letsgofairhope.com website. It's free to be listed in the e-calendar, just say the word.
Finally, please make sure you hit "view entire message" to see the save-the-dates and everything else below.
