Celebrate the spirit of the season on Cape Ann! Pack up the car and come enjoy the 3rd Annual Winter Lights on Cape Ann. Local businesses throughout Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport are getting into the festive spirit by decorating their storefronts with twinkling lights and creative window displays! Over 100 lighted locations will help bring joy to all those who visit from Saturday, November 26 through New Year's Day! NEW this year is a decorating contest! Businesses participating in the contest will be noted on the 2022 map and brochure. Pick your favorite decorated business in each of the five participating communities for a chance to win a prize!

The CAM Teen Council invites you to join us for Winter Wonderland, a free event open to the public on December 29, from 10 AM to 2 PM! Come to the Cape Ann Museum Auditorium for a chance to spend quality time with your family without having to lift a finger.
Take refuge from the chilly air and bring your fuzziest blankets, your fluffiest pillows, and your comfiest pajamas to experience a day of joy during the cold of Cape Ann winters. A Happy Feet (2006) showing will begin at 11 AM! While watching, take off your mittens and warm your hands up with a steaming cup of hot cocoa, munch on fresh-baked treats and tasty peppermint bark in the cozy Cape Ann Museum.

Rockport New Year’s Eve returns after a two-year hiatus! Some 30 performers will appear from 6:00pm to midnight at 14 venues in downtown Rockport, all within easy walking distance of one another. The evening will culminate with a midnight ball drop in Dock Square. Children’s entertainment at Community House will wrap up with an early New Year celebration for young folk at 8:45.
