I hope this email finds you well as we head into a weekend chocked full of holiday happenings in every corner of our district.
 
Tomorrow, Saturday, Dec 7th , there will be a holiday celebration in Red Hook’s Coffey Park from 2 PM until 8 PM , and in Carroll Park, which is, of course, in Carroll Gardens, there will be a Holiday Tree Lighting at 5 PM sharp . Over in Park Slope, from 11 AM until 5 PM,  the Old Stone House hosts a Holiday Book Fair , and from 10 AM until 5 PM, PS 321 will have a holiday market . In Cobble Hill, Christ’s Church has a hybrid concert/meditation session taking place from 5:00 until 6:30 PM and on Sunday, December 8th , also in Cobble Hill, PS 29 will hold their annual “Eat Pie and Shop” event from 11 am until 4 PM .
 
In Gowanus, throughout the weekend, the Gowanus Flea will be held at the Dredgers Boathouse .
 
Looking a bit further into the upcoming weeks we have our General Board Meeting at the Cobble Hill Health Center on Wednesday, December 11th and a week from then, and what could be the BKCB6 committee meeting of the decade, our Parks Committee will meet at PS 58 to hear more about the Carroll Park redesign.
 
As I say every day, we’re lucky to have such an active community, so there is always a chance I’ve missed something. If there is an event or anything else community-centric happening that you think I/others should know about,  please reach out . Also, a big thank you to everyone who has!
