| | Thank You, Girl Scout Troop #10246 | | |
Chrysalis House extends a heartfelt thanks to Girl Scout Troop #10246 for their generous Christmas donation to Chrysalis House. This dedicated group of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Girl Scouts collected and donated toys, books, and games as part of their efforts toward earning the Girl Scout Bronze Award.
Their thoughtful service and commitment to giving back will bring joy and comfort to our clients and their during the holiday season. We are deeply grateful for their kindness, leadership, and compassion. Troop #10246 truly exemplifies the spirit of community and service.

The holiday season at Chrysalis House was filled with warmth, generosity, and meaningful moments for the mothers and children we serve. One of the most joyful highlights was a special toy-shopping experience, where moms were able to select gifts for their children from a thoughtfully arranged collection of new and gently used toys, books, and stuffed animals.
Donations raised by the generous Girl Scout Troop #10246 made this experience especially meaningful, allowing each mother the dignity and joy of choosing gifts tailored to her child’s interests. The season continued with cozy, creative activities like gingerbread house decorating and cocoa, bringing families together for laughter and shared memories.
In addition to celebrating their children, clients were also supported through a Day of Caring, where they had the opportunity to shop for themselves from an organized selection of clothing and essentials donated by Bonnie Hudak & Friends. As the holiday draws closer, mothers will wrap the presents they had chosen, adding personal touches filled with love and care. Festive treats, warm drinks, and cookie decorating will round out the celebrations, creating an atmosphere of connection and cheer. Christmas pajamas were also donated again by Ravens Roost # 28. These experiences offer more than holiday fun, they provide our clients with moments of dignity, choice, creativity, and joy that made the season truly special.

Our IOP community has several exciting moments to celebrate this season. Clients and their children will enjoy a visit to Lights on the Bay this year, a favorite holiday tradition that brings joy, togetherness, and lasting memories. We are proud to help them to fully experience the magic of the season!
We are also looking forward to our holiday party, a time to come together, celebrate, and reflect on how far everyone has come. Throughout the holidays, our team works intentionally to make this season meaningful for the women and children in our IOP, providing not only support and structure, but also moments of joy, connection, and hope. These shared experiences serve as a reminder that new traditions are possible and that they deserve moments of celebration as they continue building brighter futures.

Chrysalis House Healthy Start Happenings
| | |
Chrysalis House Healthy Start celebrated the season with a joyful holiday party that brought smiles to clients, children, and staff alike. The festivities included a special visit from Santa, festive decorations throughout the space, and creatively decorated office doors that added extra Christmas cheer. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made the event a truly memorable experience and reflected the spirit of generosity, togetherness, and joy that defines Healthy Start.
This month was further enhanced by a generous donation of new clothing for our babies and toddlers from Fulton Baptist Church & Pastor Clifton Urquhart. We are so grateful for their support this holiday season.

Hope, Healing, & Holiday Cheer Thanks to You
| | |
Chrysalis House has received so much support this holiday season. We would not be able to do this critical work without your help.
Because of you, this holiday season a mother could hold her child close and feel safe again. A woman found comfort, healing, and the courage to rebuild her life. A mother and child experienced a holiday filled with joy, connection, and possibility.
| | |
We are deeply grateful for every act of kindness, every donation whether it be monetary or in-kind, that has lifted the women and children we serve at Chrysalis House, giving them hope and the tools to move forward.
May the same peace, warmth, and joy you’ve shared with others fill your heart this holiday season and, in the year, to come.
With heartfelt thanks,
All of us at Chrysalis House
