Happy Holiday Hiking in Sedona, Arizona!
Hiking Sedona’s favorite trails is a great way to celebrate the holidays. And the Sedona Shuttle will make the experience a merry one. The Shuttle will be running as usual throughout the holidays, including Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Note: The shuttle will not operate on Christmas Day.

So keep the holidays happy by riding the Sedona Shuttle to your favorite hike.  Skip the search for parking at unsafe and unsustainable roadside locations. Park safely at one our park and ride locations and take our free shuttles to five of the most popular trailheads. These five trailheads give you access to a huge network of trails both north and south of the city.

Show your commitment by taking the Sedona Cares Pledge!
Once you’re on the trails, we ask you to help preserve and Respect Red Rock Country’s natural beauty. We invite you to add your name to the Sedona Cares Pledge.

  1. The rocks are red and the silence is golden. I vow to respect the natural quiet of Sedona's open spaces and neighborhoods.
  2. I will be mindful of Sedona's arid environment by minimizing my water and energy use and I will be extremely careful with fire.
  3. I’ll make my own memories, but not my own trails.
  4. I won't risk life or limb (human or sapling) for more likes. I won't get killed for a killer photo.
  5. When playing outside, I'll be ready for rapid changes in weather and random episodes of magic.
  6. Leave No Trace and pack out trash - that includes TP and pup poo!
  7. I will discover art in Sedona's galleries rather than making my own. Carving on trees or rocks, stacking stones, or defacing the environment diminishes nature's art.
  8. Whenever possible, I will ride the Sedona Shuttle to reach the trails.
  9. When I can't find a parking spot, I will not invent my own. I will go with the traffic flow, using my turn signal often and my car horn seldom.
  10. I’ll be caring and considerate wherever I go, because that's the Sedona way.
Sedona Shuttle’s Stuff-the-Bus
Sedona Shuttle recently partnered with Toys for Tots to host a “Stuff-the-Bus” at Posse Grounds Pavilion. The goal was to fill a Sedona Shuttle bus with toys to be given to Sedona families in need. And the goal was met!

Toys for Tots just reported to us that the Stuff The Bus event brought in 295 toys, 162 stocking stuffers, and 5 books all in one day.

Every seat was piled high with games, dolls, toy trucks, stuffed animals…everything needed to delight Sedona’s children.

Thanks to all of you who contributed! Happy Holidays.
