Each year around this time, many religious, spiritual, secular, and cultural holidays and observances are celebrated — many of them focused on increasing light in this darkest period of the year. However you may celebrate — and wherever and with whomever that may be — we wish you a joyful season of peace, love, and light!
We appreciate all of you who’ve visited the reimagined Mosesian Arts since we’ve reopened! We've held eighteen events and performances in the month between November 12 and December 12! We’re delighted that New Repertory Theatre, our resident professional theater company, is planning its return!
We’d also like to introduce you to a few of the performing arts companies that we’ve been partnering with lately. We’re excited about the work they’re doing, and we hope you will be too! There are even discounts and upcoming performances of both virtual and in-person events!

MULTIVERSE CONCERT SERIES

Have you ever wondered what science sounds like? At Multiverse Concert Series, a team of scientists, artists, and musicians explore possible worlds through evocative discussion, immersive music, and mind-bending art in a cohesive, multimedia experience.
In November, Multiverse performed Octave of Light at Mosesian Arts. Their concert fused music with the science of exoplanets and astrophysics. Between musical compositions, guests from the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics spoke.
The company also has an educational mission. They aim to inspire a young generation and build trust in the scientific method. Especially in the times of a pandemic, Multiverse serves the purpose of building a strong multigenerational and multidisciplinary community to celebrate the wonder of the universe and the perspectives of our lives in it.
Multiverse’s latest project is Black Hole Symphony, in which the company will tell the story of the most distant fringes of the universe through the universal language of music and visual art. The work will premier at the Charles Hayden Planetarium of the Boston Museum of Science next summer.
We hope to have Multiverse Concert Series return to Mosesian Arts in 2022 too!

Can a performing arts company teach language? Of course it can!
Arlekin Studio combines the study of the Russian language with teaching the basics of acting.
The company’s program for their youngest students includes basic spoken language, reading and writing skills, attention games, exercises developing imagination, and observation skills. As students grow, theater helps them to develop their reading comprehension and speaking skills, as they learn to analyze the feelings and motivations of the characters they encounter.
On January 8 and 9, Arlekin Studio will perform Knock, Knock! Who's There? The script is Mikhail Bartenev's retelling of the fairy tale of The Wolf and Seven Goatlings. Presented in Russian, performances are suitable for ages 4 and up. Tickets are on sale now!
