Mary Johnson
Announces Her Retirement
It’s been a long and rewarding ride, but I now must say goodbye as I retire after 45 years of service.
When I began my career with Police FCU of Omaha, our assets were $3.2 million. As I leave, the credit union is on the verge of $100 million in assets. That makes me proud, as it reflects the hard work I had the privilege of accomplishing with many great people.
Most importantly, I look back at my career with tremendous pride when I think of all the law-enforcement families we were able to help. Despite the usual trials and tribulations of running a credit union, and a few that were quite a surprise, the assistance we were always able to provide to police officers and families has created memories that I will look back on. It’s those memories that will bring a smile to my face for many years.
I wish you all happiness, great health, and financial stability.
