LAND-GRANT BREWING LANDS A TAPROOM IN CONCOURSE B AT JOHN GLENN COLUMBUS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

DECEMBER 1, 2016 / COLUMBUS, OHIO - Fliers traveling through Concourse B at the John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) will now be able to enjoy a beer from the Columbus-based, Land-Grant Brewing Company, with the opening of The Land-Grant Brewing Taproom at The John Glenn Columbus International Airport.  Land-Grant Brewing proudly serves other large venues within the city, and a taproom at the airport allows them another opportunity to share their craft both with Columbus locals and visitors alike in the city they live in and love.

"We're proud to be a part of the Columbus community and we're excited to broaden our reach in sharing and introducing our beer," says Founder & CEO Adam Benner.

Officially opening on Monday, December 5th, the taproom will have a similar design and appearance to that of Land-Grant's rustic modern Franklinton taproom within a smaller footprint.  With reclaimed wood-lined walls and sprawling bar, metal paned windows, and sleek furniture designed and built by Columbus' MINOH Design, customers will find this space an inviting and enjoyable retreat during air travel.

Featured on tap will be Land-Grant's four Core beers, 1862 Ale, Greenskeeper, Stiff-Arm, and Son of a Mudder, along with 2 Land-Grant rotating seasonals, and guest bottles.  Wine and cocktails will also be served.  The menu, designed in collaboration with Land-Grant and seasoned restaurant operator HMS Host, will be comprised of tasty dishes perfect for pairing, that include, flatbreads, sandwiches, and salads.  Visitors can also purchase an array of Land-Grant branded merchandise and 6-packs to go for further enjoyment at a traveler's destination.

The Land-Grant Brewing Taproom at The John Glenn Columbus International Airport will be serving Concourse B travelers 7 days a week.

ABOUT LAND-GRANT
The Land-Grant Brewing Company is a production craft brewery operating in the East Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio.  Focused on creating championship-quality craft beer, they were born from a passion for painstakingly-crafted beer, powerful design, and a mid-western sports devotion.

Founded by Ohio natives Adam Benner, Walt Keys and Quintin Jessee, the Brewery and its adjacent taproom have been open since October of 2014.  The name Land-Grant is derived from the Land-Grant College Act of 1862.

Three Words About Litter... PICK IT UP!!

USE THE ASHTRAY, NOT THE ROADWAY!!
THREE WORDS ABOUT LITTER:
PICK IT UP!!

It is a frustrating reality that people use the environment as their ash tray and trash can, so please help us keep preaching the message of Pick It Up and Kick Butt!!

To that end, please remember that the Franklinton Board of Trade is an equipment hub for Keep Columbus Beautiful.  If you want to organize a clean-up effort in Franklinton for 15 or less, please call us and we can arrange for you to borrow the necessary equipment.  If your group will be larger than 15, we can help you coordinate enough equipment directly with KCB!!
