Christmas Artisan Market This Saturday!

The holiday season is here, and we’re excited to invite you to the Glenora Community League Christmas Market happening this Saturday, December 6th from 9 AM–3 PM!

This is one of our favourite days of the year — a chance for our community to come together, get neighbourly, and celebrate the spirit of the season. Whether you’re hunting for unique gifts, stocking up on festive treats, or simply looking to enjoy a cozy holiday atmosphere, the market has something for everyone.

We’ll have local vendors, handmade crafts, seasonal goodies, and plenty of chances to connect with familiar faces (and meet new ones!). It’s a wonderful way to support small businesses while enjoying the warmth and charm of our neighbourhood.

Bring your family, invite a friend, and come share in a little holiday magic with us. We can’t wait to see you there!

We’re reaching out to our neighbours for help keeping the skate room open this season. Last year brought in enough generous volunteers to run things smoothly, and we’re hoping for the same amazing community support again.

All proceeds support the Glenora Pre-School, so you’ll be spreading holiday cheer while helping our community’s youngest learners!

Over the last 12 months the Glenora Community League redevelopment committee has shifted their focus from the outdoor space to our community league building.

In the last 12 months we obtained a planning grant from the City of Edmonton and have applied those funds to engaging the services of Andrea Hestvik to help us come up with a concept for redevelopment. Andrea is an architect as well as the Facilities Director at Crestwood community league.

Based on principles gathered from the community, survey and the input gathered we have build a 5-phase plan overview for the building.

Thank you to everyone who used, trialed and gave feedback on our new online membership portal, which will helped us communicate, manage and coordinate your annual GCL membership & court bookings this Summer.

It was not always seamless but we feel like we are building a better system to manage our membership & help us all take advantage of our amenities.

Annual Memberships have now turned over to the 2025/2026 season. If your membership was on auto-renewal, you will have been automatically charged for a new membership and your membership remains up to date. If your membership was not on auto-renewal, you will need to sign in to your account and renew manually.

Save your bottles for Glenora Community League! We have an account with Skip The Depot so you can turn your cans into cash for the league! Register here for an account to have them pick up your bottles & cans & have the funds donated straight to Glenora initiatives. Every little bit counts!
