Waveny's Golden Gala

On Friday, November 15, 2024, Waveny LifeCare Network celebrated 50 years of service with over 250 supporters, sponsors and guests.

“As we close 2024, it’s a time to reflect on our shared accomplishments over the past half-century,” said Russ Barksdale, President and CEO. “None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our caregivers, donors, volunteers, and stakeholders. Your commitment enables us to provide compassionate, high-quality care to those who need it most. Together, we can build on this legacy, ensuring accessible, exceptional care for our community for decades to come.”

December Events

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Our team of dedicated volunteers have brought the holiday cheer to our campuses, unpacking, arranging and decorating our many trees and other festive decor in every nook, cranny and corner of our campus!

Jingle Bells and Gingerbread at The Inn

What do you get when you mix 50 amazing kids, their "ugly sweaters", gingerbread and holiday carols? The best night at The Inn—Waveny’s Enriched Independent Senior Living Residence. Our residents took part in an evening with the youth group from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, decorating gingerbread houses, caroling, and enjoying festivities of the holiday season! There’s always “room in the Inn” for all faiths. For our loved ones, who could use socialization and help when they need it, check out the Inn. For a guided tour or just to join us for lunch, contact Katarina Tchakarov at ktchakarov@waveny.org or call 203-594-5450.
