Season’s greetings! I hope this message finds you all healthy and well. This time of year, I often find reflecting on accomplishments brings a sense of gratitude, as well as an excitement for setting goals for the future. It’s been a great year for the industry and our organization.
As we reflect upon the year, I find the word of gratitude a resounding theme. Thankful companies are busy, supply chain issues are improving, and workloads don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Thankful for our amazing members who are the backbone of MCA’s success. Our membership base is at an all-time high, our committees are thriving with active members, and we have had a year full of amazing networking events, education programs and supporting students. We continue to live out our mission of Networking, Education and Recognition as the driving factor in our planning efforts for the future. That said, our committees have been busy planning an exciting line-up of events. Don't forget to register for our Leadership Training Academy on April 26!
If you aren’t already actively involved with MCA, I encourage you to find a way to participate in 2023. Whether that means attending more events or joining a committee, I promise the reward of what you’ll get out of it will be worthwhile. The networking and industry relationships MCA provides is one of my favorite aspects of the organization and I hope you can find value in that too.
Thank you for the honor of being your 2022 MCA President. I have enjoyed working alongside our dedicated Board of Directors and networking with our wonderful members throughout the year. I look forward to watching this organization continue to thrive and I hope to see you all at the Awards of Excellence on January 25.

AP's 2nd Annual Day of Giving
This fall, Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP), held their second annual “Day of Giving”. Over 500 team members volunteered more than 3,000 combined hours and AP donated more than $100,000 to local community organizations. Regional offices selected charities and causes that have special meaning to their employees, including community funds, environmental organizations, food shelves and veterans’ groups. The Day of Giving is an effort for employees to give back in a meaningful way.
"We’re proud of the impact our organization and teams continue to have in our local communities," said Jeff Hansen, AP’s CEO.

Presents with Public Safety
Bauer Design Build is a proud supporter and sponsor of the Plymouth Rotary and Lions Club. Each year, the Plymouth Rotary and Lions Clubs donate money so the police officers and firefighters can treat low-income and struggling families to buy gifts over the holidays. They were invited by the Plymouth PD to take part in the Presents with Public Safety Campaign. Bauer Design Build not only donated $2,200 but also their time on Saturday morning wrapping gifts for the program.
"It is through community participation and leadership that we all become stronger," said Mike Bauer, Founder and President of Bauer Design Build.
