Happiest Holiday Wishes my friends, colleagues, and partners!

It is my favorite time of year yet again, a time for reflection and gratitude, joy and hope as we close out another year and open yet another chapter we will title, “2025.”

We are so appreciative of every transaction you bring to us, whether it be those rare easy files, or those files that we are knee deep in the trenches with you! We know you have a choice – and we hope each time you and your clients leave our closings, you are leaving as raving fans!

Speaking of fans, professionally speaking, my goal for 2025 is to embody Dan Campbell. Yes, that’s right, Dan Campbell, Head Coach of the Detroit Lions.

Now you may be a Lions fan, or you could be a Bears fan (and I’m sorry about that) or you may not even watch professional football or football in general – but from what I have seen, even fans of other teams are raving fans of Dan Campbell, and you can count me in too.

Why am I and so many others raving fans of Dan Campbell? First, thanks for asking, and second, let me tell you my whys:

Dan is passionate, he is transparent and authentic, relatable, fired up, talks about the value in being GRITTY and also being humble, being proud, but not pompous, practicing gratitude, celebrating the wins, and taking ownership in the loss. He has created a winning culture, one that has been missing from the Lions for decades.

Am I a Lions fan? Yes – and yeah, even when they were bad, after all I grew up in the Thumb only two hours from the Pontiac Silverdome – but I am a bigger fan of Dan Campbell and what he has brought to his team, but also to me, and maybe to you as you read my words and think that maybe it describes who you are, who you want to be, who you want to partner with professionally and the culture you want to create.

BE DAN CAMPBELL, but don’t make it weird 😉

We are so grateful to have convinced the Kelly Wood to come out of semi-retirement to assist us at our front desk seasonally as our very best, incredible, super over-qualified Receptionist – she even made herself a plaque. She was with us from March – Halloween where we dressed in theme for the first time ever! It did take some arm twisting of Jimmy but when I mentioned he could still wear a sweater – well, the deal was sealed!

Kelly will re-join us in the Spring of 2025 for yet another season of dream job for Kelly, dream situation for Ashley, Jimmy and I!

On a personal note, this Christmas will be a bit different for our #tablefor9 as we are traveling to Riviera Maya on January 4 for a trip with our children and a mix of their boyfriends, a total of 14 people (eek!) -- our Christmas gifts are all travel themed, starting with a passport, a luggage set to carry them into adulthood, swimwear and sunscreen. If you have ever been in my office during Christmas time, you know it looks like a warehouse exploded and it is no different this year with giant boxes of luggage waiting to be wrapped 😉 At 47, this is my first time in Mexico, and I am counting the days to sunshine and toes in the sand! Tell me your favorite place to vacation and any tips you may have for me!

As always, I want to end my day and Holiday Newsletter with gratitude pouring out of me for YOU! Working with you is a great joy and I am forever appreciative of you and your support – THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts ♥

Cheers to 2025!

Wishing you find joy everywhere this holiday season and into 2025!

In friendship,

Cari Adams
