Christmas Tree Recycling
Start the new year off right by recycling your Christmas tree! The City is hosting it's annual Christmas tree recycling program from Saturday, January 3 through Saturday, January 17.
Residents can drop-off their Christmas trees at any of the 23 Park District locations to be recycled. In the 43rd Ward, trees can be recycled right in front of the Notebaert Nature Museum. Look for the drop-off site in the parking lot east of Cannon Drive at Fullerton Avenue.
Please remind your friends and family to remove all lights, tinsel and ornaments from the tree before dropping them off.
