The market area examined for the study included Lee’s Summit and six surrounding communities (Independence, Blue Springs, Grandview, Overland Park, Olathe and Lenexa). The study found that the current occupancy rate in Lee’s Summit is 98.8%, indicating a very strong demand for rental housing.
