In tandem with the annual Blooming Grove Chamber Holiday Parade, Moffat Library will keep ts doors open after hours, so that parade-goers can stop in to warm up, grab a hot beverage and some tasty treats & use the facilities during the parade.

Orange County Post Archives NOW ONLINE!

The Moffat Library of Washingtonville is thrilled to announce the archives of the Orange County Post, covering the years 1938 to 2012 are now available to view online via the Hudson River Valley Heritage at the HRVH website.

Users can now search over 2,800 issues of the Orange County Post by Year, month and day, as well as keyword search for names, places and historic events as published in the Orange County Post, the only newspaper that exclusively covered Washingtonville and Blooming Grove!

Please note, our library is still seeking back-issues of the Orange County Post covering the years 1943-1945, 1949, 1951-1952, 1954, 1958, 1960-1961, and 1967 in order to complete this collection. If you have issues covering these years that you can donate, please reach out to our Local History Librarian at: moffat@rcls.org today!
