Christmas Holiday Schedule

Wake County government will be closed for the holidays December 25, 26, 27, 2023 and January 1, 2023. No well or septic inspections will be performed on these days.

The Water Quality Laboratory will be closed Monday, December 25 through Monday, January 1, 2023 in observance of the Christmas and New Year holidays. Samples will be accepted on Friday, December 22, but results will not be reported until after January 1. 

Wake County Cooperative Extension is developing an education initiative for residents to learn science-based techniques for enhancing their yard in ways that benefit themselves, the community, and the environment. Please take this brief survey to help Cooperative Extension better tailor this program to meet the needs of our community.
