HARLEM WIZARD'S RECAP

Our Harlem Wizards night was a slam dunk! The Wizards had us laughing and cheering all night long with their incredible tricks, high flying dunks, and hilarious antics, especially with our very own teachers joining in on the fun! The crowd couldn't get enough of the friendly competition, dance moves, and playful pranks that made the evening unforgettable!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support and enjoy the event! Because of our Butler community, we had a successful fundraiser and brought our community together for a night filled with laughter, energy, and memories!

Butler Stage and Cafeteria

Butler students and their families can join us on Friday, November 21 from 5:30PM to 7:30PM on the Butler stage and in the cafeteria for the Holiday Shop!

This is an opportunity for students to do their holiday shopping independently and keep their gifts a surprise!

Please note: This is NOT a drop off event, and it is an evening event only.

Flyers will be sent home Wednesday November 12, the week prior to the Holiday Shop.

It's that time of year to be thankful and give back. We can express our appreciation to our teachers and staff by providing food for them during conferences on Monday, November 24th.

CONTRIBUTE TO HELP SUPPORT PTO PROGRAMS & EVENTS

PTO events and activities would not be available without our volunteers and the financial contribution by the Butler families. In support of our efforts, we are asking for a $15 contribution per household (Butler Family) as the means to offset the expenses for organizing and holding the events.

For those who wish, you can sponsor another Butler family’s $15 contribution. Payment is preferred through MyPaymentsPlus or submit a check with this form.

MY PAYMENTS PLUS VS. MY SCHOOL BUCKS

My Payments Plus is a free, secured, online account which allows you to pay for student fees, field trips, PTO events, summer classes, etc. This is used district-wide, so we encourage all families to register for an account. To sign up, simply visit: MyPaymentsPlus.com and click on “Register a Free Account.” You will need your child's student identification number to set up the account, which can be found in the parent portal.

My School Bucks is a free, secured online account which allows you to pay for school meals. It allows you to have a digital option for lunches (no cards – the cafeteria staff look up the child’s name at the register) as well as see what items your child is purchasing in the cafeteria. To access My School Bucks, please visit MySchoolBucks.com. You will need your child's student identification number to set up the account, which can be found in the parent portal.

BUTLER ONLINE APPAREL STORE

The Butler Bears Apparel Store is now open online! This online store will be open year-round and orders may be placed at any time and ship right to your home. Choose from more than 100 items of various colors and designs for the entire family! Questions? Contact Amy.

YOU MUST HAVE CLEARANCES TO VOLUNTEER

In order to volunteer in the classroom, you must have current volunteer clearances through CBSD. Questions? Contact Michelle Droxler.

The process is EASY and all done online using Raptor Volunteer Safe. Every CB volunteer will need to register and upload their clearances.

Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children obtain background checks and clearances. Click here for the required clearances, along with links to the state’s websites.
