What a year 2022 has been! We started off in the throes of Omicron and then had to rebuild our business almost from scratch. We've been doing this for over fourteen years now, and we can say without a doubt that the Omicron-Father's Day stretch of this year was the most difficult we have ever encountered, harder even than opening, the Great Recession, and the pandemic itself. Business went from 0-60 during a time it was difficult to hire and retain staff, but once again and thanks to your support we have made it so far. After all the fits and starts and working with a green crew, it's only been since July that we feel the restaurant is truly operating normally, with our traditionally stable low-turnover staff and what we believe is the strongest team we have ever had. So we close out 2022 grateful. What a difference a year makes.

We're cooking from our winter menus now and that means some seasonal faves we haven't seen in a while: chicken & dumplings, sweet potato bisque, black trumpet mushrooms, lots of duck, huckleberries, and sweet potato hash, along with some surprises that may become Big jones classics in their own right.
Happy hours are in full swing!
Monday-Friday 4:30-6:00 Fried Chicken & Bubbles, $10 light or dark $20 half chicken and half price sparkling wines.Wednesday 5:00-close Burger Night! $12-15 burger menu featuring seven gourmet burgers and that awesome Fischer Farms beef.Thursday 5:00-close Half price cocktails! That's right our entire cocktail list is half price, all night.Friday and Saturday 9:00-close Dessert Happy Hour, our entire bourbon library is half price, even the good stuff!

Give the gift of Southern Heirloom cooking this season! While we've always been a popular spot for holidays and celebrations and this year will be no different, we're here seven days a week employing our team and feeding our community. If you haven't stopped by in a while, please do. We love seeing old friends.

As we do each year, we are throwing special dinners for both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, menus are listed below and posted on our instagram and facebook pages, with easy click-through icons to make reservations. Don't forget to stop in for Brunch, lunch, or dinner :)   | |
