Holiday Window Decorating Contest
As part of HolidayFest, The Downtown Improvement District is excited to announce the return of the Downtown Holiday Window Decorating Contest! This year's theme is Home for the Holidays. Participants will show what Downtown traditions, both old and new, make them happy they are home for the holidays.
Citilink would like to invite all citizens to attend information meetings on the ten year Transit Development Plan. The purpose of this plan is to identify improvements for Citilink fixed route and paratransit service to be implemented over the next ten years.
A story of a young girl, a Nutcracker prince, and the evil Mouse King bring the whole family together to experience holiday magic and a fantastic journey through the Kingdom of Sweets. It's more than a family tradition, it's a holiday feast for the eyes and ears!
Don't miss the special showcase performance by The St. John Family Band! This talented group hails from Roanoke, and will blow you away with their mix of traditional folk, bluegrass and country tunes, originals, and covers.
Through numerous aerial, business and street level views; the Downtown 360 virtual tour connects retail and restaurant locations, as well as cultural and parking information into an easy to navigate and visually stunning super tour that will allow you to explore and plan your next visit to Downtown from virtually anywhere!
