Saving Santa
Ft. Wayne Firefighers Museum

Santa is stuck on the roof of the museum! On Sunday, December 2, Santa will be rescued by Fort Wayne's finest in their big red ladder truck. Then it's inside to visit with Santa and enjoy some snacks. 
 
New Year's Eve Ball Drop
Parkview Field

This event takes place on December 31, from 7 p.m. until midnight and features music, fireworks, food, beverages, and a warming ten that all lead up to the ball drop. The ball with its updated design will ring in 2019 at the stroke of midnight. Best of all, portions of the event are  free and for all ages.

The Nutcracker
Fort Wayne Ballet

Fort Wayne's original holiday classic is back from November 30 until December 9. The story of Clara, her Nutcracker prince, and an evil mouse king brings the whole family together to experience holiday magic and a fantastic journey through the Kingdom of Sweets.
 
Santa & the Reindeer
The Conservatory

Santa and two of his reindeer will greet children December 1, December 8, and December 15 while adults take pictures to capture the moment. Explore the Conservatory in its holiday glory. This year's theme is "Victorian Holiday."   

Exploring African culture through dance
Fort Wayne Dance Collective

The Fort Wayne Dance Collective is hosting a Master Class on African Dance with guest artist Kenyetta Abdul-Azeez to help local residents experience some of the culture's traditional dance forms and music.

Join the Central Branch of the YMCA Saturday, December 8, for a morning with Santa celebration! This event will include donuts, milk, coffee, face painting, crafts, popcorn, and a raffle to win a 3 month YMCA membership.
 
Repeal Day Celebration

It is the 85th anniversary of the ratification of the 21st amendment. Alcohol was legal again for consumption back on December 5, 1933. Cinema Center is celebrating with a double film feature and plenty of Madbrew to enjoy.
