Holidays in Klyde Warren Park
Klyde Warren Park's annual Tree Lighting Celebration Presented by the Dallas Tourism Public Improvement District has been reimagined for guests to enjoy an annual holiday tradition in a safe and socially distanced way. On seven separate nights, Santa Claus will light the tree while dancers from Texas Ballet Theater and carolers from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts entertain your family.

In addition, CBS 11 will broadcast the annual event on Sunday, December 20, at 7:30 AM and again on KXTA Channel 21 at 4 PM for those at home to enjoy! A portion of sponsorship proceeds benefit the North Texas Food Bank.

More than 20 programs have been created for your holiday enjoyment! All are FREE and OPEN to the public unless otherwise noted. Wear your masks, and join in the fun!

Support the Restaurants that Support the Park
Billy Can Can is keeping the good times (safely) rolling! Executive Chef Matt Ford has revamped the restaurant’s takeout program, offering burger kits, three-course dinners and crowd-pleasing Thanksgiving items. And GM Abraham Bedell has created partnerships with acclaimed wineries and distilleries for intimate events, including an upcoming dinner with Department 66 Wines by David Phinney. With a brand-new patio and celebratory ambience, Billy Can Can is emerging from the pandemic stronger than ever.
Congrats to the Katy Trail!
Friends of the Katy Trail just announced that they surpassed their goal for a capital campaign improving Dallas' most popular linear park. “The Campaign to Complete the Katy Trail” funds the completion of two fully separate and uninterrupted paths for pedestrians and cyclists, running the entire length of the Trail, and includes new entrances, widened bridges and beautiful new landscaping.

The Friends are raising additional dollars as part of the completion campaign to provide a maintenance fund for all the new Trail improvements. Support your local green spaces in Dallas—we are all grateful for your help!

The Park Needs Your Support More Than Ever
Klyde Warren Park's mission is to provide free programming and educational opportunities for the enrichment of visitors' lives, to showcase the diverse multitude of cultures and talents Dallas has to offer, and to be a town square where citizens may congregate and create traditions together.

The 5.2-acre park relies on contributions from donors to support maintenance, special programming and educational activities for more than one million visitors each year. Please consider making a gift to help us pay for expanded cleaning protocols. Thank you!
