Night of Lights returns to DTFW on Wednesday, November 27 from 5:45 p.m. - 8 p.m. Enjoy the lighting of the iconic Santa and his reindeer, fireworks at Parkview Field, and much more.

The Downtown Improvement District announced the winner of this year's New Events Contest, which invited businesses, organizations, and individuals to submit their best ideas for a chance to receive significant production support for new events in February, March, or April 2020. 
 
Violins of Hope Opening Event
Fort Wayne Museum of Art

Violins of Hope comprise a collection of instruments that tell remarkable stories of the defiance, resilience, and legacy of Jewish musicians during the Holocaust, and of the Israeli violinmaker dedicated to bringing these Strings of the Holocaust back to life.

Embassy Theatre
 
The Festival of Trees supports ongoing operational and restoration efforts for the Embassy Theatre Foundation. The festival is the organization's largest annual fundraising event. The Embassy's Festival of Trees is a holiday tradition for northeast Indiana.

The Musical

A musical based on the beloved 1947 movie, Miracle on 34th Street features a book and score by Meredith Willson (The Music Man).

Three Rivers Music Theatre presents their tuneful and joyous Christmas Spectacular. Featuring holiday favorites from several genres, this is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season with your family and friends.
 
Christmas Open House
Smiley's Joy

Join Smiley's Joy at 503 W. Wayne Street, on Saturday, November 9, from 10 a.m. -  4 p.m., for their annual Christmas Open House. They are celebrating the beginning of their 5th year in Downtown Fort Wayne. A free Joy Ornament will be given to the first 25 people with a $25 or more purchase. Enjoy muffins and mimosas, and enter to win a basket full of valuable Smiley's Joy goodies.
