CONFIRMATION RETREATS! Dear Friends, Holmes Camps loves spring confirmation season! Explore your faith and enjoy fellowship with youth from other churches. Holmes Camp Confirmation Retreats are designed for confirmation classes, leaders and adult mentors. Together, we will ask and affirm the big questions about how our own spiritual development is relevant as we navigate and explore our own journeys and how they intersect with family, community, service, church, and our choices. We'll have some fun, too! Two sessions are available: March 6th - 7th or April 3rd -4th. Email Holmes@HolmesCamp.org for more information.

So, here's a little story of our fantastic staff, volunteers and team work. External repairs from the car accident at Agape are done, but we still have to remove and install the walk-ins. In the meantime, we need to keep on keeping on. Fo rmer Chef, and current Site Manager, Bobby, found us an old inexpensive but repairable baby walk in. Then, while our brilliant volunteer engineer Davey Nielsen started pulling, rewiring and repairing, our Maintenance Superhero Paul built a little roof for it, using re-purposed lumber. The result is this incredibly camp-like portable fridge that we think is, well, just adorable. Once the new fridge and freezer are up and running, this little beauty will be ceremoniously hauled to Denton Dining Hall for use in our summer program.  We have good, clever, talented people here at Holmes Camp!

Join us: Programs & Retreats

March 6-7 & April 3-4, 2020 Confirmation Retreats Join Rev. Bryan Breault and Rev. Martin McGeachy for our confirmation retreats! Bring your whole Confirmation Class to Holmes for a chance to explore faith and enjoy fellowship with youth from other churches. Retreats will be held in Nunemaker, our youth retreat building with cabin-style rooms of bunk beds and shared bathrooms. Church groups will be split as evenly as possible to create the small groups for the retreat. Click Here to Register

May 2, 2020: Work Day 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Spend a day outdoors and help us thrive! We'll have work for people of every skill level. There will be some special projects, though to make our camp shine, we need a good outdoor spring cleaning!  Bring your family, your youth group, or a team from church. We can't do it without your help!   Lunch will be served (register via phone 845-878-6383) or, bring your own. Adults, youth, and children 11 years or older. No small children or pets, for safety reasons.
