HOLMES SEEKING NEW BOARD MEMBER
We have a vacancy.
Holmes Board of Directors are looking to recruit Board members who are passionate about helping Holmes continue to be an outstanding retreat center that shares the gospel of Jesus Christ through instruction, outreach, personal growth, and recreation.

The mission of Holmes is to strengthen people of faith. Holmes welcomes all faith traditions to our facilities. Our programs strive to be a Christ-centered witness to the issues of conservation, ecology, peace, and justice.

The objectives of the Holmes are to provide comfortable facilities for reflection, growth, and inspiration amid the most urbanized region of the world. We follow Christian teachings which allow us to build inclusive, healing, and reconciling communities in Holmes’ retreats and camping programs.

What Makes Holmes Camp and Retreat Center Unique?
Holmes is a special place. For over the last 70 years, generations of participants have walked away with a gift. A gift of memories and living faith...some very personal and some very intense. Moments of Christ’s love realized, in a special way that we never forget.

Why Serve on the Board?
Holmes Camp and Retreat Center Board members have the privilege of working collaboratively to direct and support a well-established, first-rate organization. Board members are part of a community that is committed to conservation, ecology, peace, and justice and to providing children with an outdoor camping experience that teaches them to honor themselves and to accept others who are different. Our Board is made up of former Holmes campers and staff members, community members, and professionals who come together to make policies and provide strategic direction and oversight.
