June 2026

Dear Holy Cross Parents,

We pray that you and your family are having a safe and relaxing summer break. Plans for the 2026-2027 school year are underway, and we have some information below to help in your preparations for a return to campus and activities. In addition to that, the 2026-2027 school calendar has been updated and is now available on our website, www.hcnola.org.

Parent Survey

Cross Country Information Night

Parents, please help us to reflect on the 2025─26 school year by filling out our Cognia Climate and Culture Survey. The survey link will be active until July 1, 2026. Your responses are anonymous. Thank you for participating and for supporting Holy Cross School!

There will be a Cross Country Parent Informational Meeting for Middle and High School families interested in participating in the 2026 Cross Country season. Join us this Thursday, June 18, starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Dining Hall. During this meeting, the following topics will be discussed: 2026 Meet Schedule, Camps, Training Schedule, Fundraising, and the Team Policy. We look forward to you joining us as we prepare for another great season!

Student Schedules and Books

Student schedules will be posted to TigerNet in the week of July 6.

MBS, our online bookstore, will be open on July 15. The link can be found on the resource page of TigerNet. Our free shipping dates will be from July 15 through July 21.

To login into MBS, parents will need their son’s Holy Cross ID number, which can be found on a student’s ID card from last year or on his contact card on TigerNet. It is the same number as his Café ID number and his Clever username.

Parents of 8th graders, you were emailed your son’s English placement on June 10 so that he can begin his summer reading.

Please contact Anne Chabreck or Mike Arvites in the Office of Academics with any questions about scheduling for 2026─27 school year.

2026-27 School Supplies

Supply lists for the 2026─27 school year are now available. Parents, if you are unsure about which courses your son requested, please contact Anne Chabreck or Mike Arvites in the Office of Academics, or wait to purchase supplies until schedules have been posted on July 6.

Holy Cross Uniforms

For the 2026-2027 school year, the only change to our policy is that bow ties will no longer be worn by students in grades 5th – 12th. For special events, including Liturgies, students will be required to wear neckties.

As per the policy last year, newly purchased Oxford shirts from Skobel’s must have the 5th - 12th-grade student’s name embroidered on the front. Oxford Shirts purchased last school year with the first initial and last name embroidered on the front are still permissible, as long as the shirt is in acceptable condition and is approved. Primary School students will still have the option to purchase and to wear a navy Holy Cross polo or Dri-Fit polo shirt.
