President's Perspective

What an exciting time to be a Tiger…Holy Cross School continues to be blessed, and what better time to be grateful than during this Season of Thanksgiving. We welcome Home all of our Alumni, Family, and Friends during this Homecoming Week. Although we may have changed locations, Holy Cross continues to thrive on Paris Avenue. Our Admissions Season has been fruitful, and we are attracting the best and the brightest young men from around the metropolitan area, soon to be young Holy Cross Men! A number of our projects are well underway with projected completion dates by the Winter 2025 or Spring 2026 at the latest, including the Weight Room renovations, Palmer Baseball Complex construction, and Saint Jude Chapel & Campus Ministry development. But, please do not take my word for it—come home, and witness it for yourselves. There are so many opportunities that have been created for the winter and the spring in which we encourage you to participate, including Homecoming Weekend, Thanksgiving Food Drive, Phone-a-thon, President’s Dinner, Gold & Blue Gala, Career Day, Family Day—there is something for everyone. We are also launching the Tiger Business Association (TBA) to benefit our entire Holy Cross Community. Again, all are welcome to Come Experience the Heart of Holy Cross—you will not be disappointed! God bless, and stay involved!

Collection Drive

The Brother Andre Service Society is once again collecting aluminum pop tabs from soft drink/food item cans to benefit our local Ronald McDonald House and the good work they do on behalf of families with critically ill children.

Just pop those tabs, save them, and send them to Mrs. Allerton in Room M211. There are also collection containers in front of the Middle School and High School Offices. Let's make a difference! Donations will be accepted through May 2026.

Calling All Volunteers

Plans are underway for our 2026 Gold and Blue Gala that will take place on Saturday, March 21.

We are looking for volunteers who can help before, during, and after the Gala. Please click the button below to sign up for available volunteer opportunities. We look forward to sharing more information about the Gala, and appreciate your help in making this event a success!

People & Pets Food Drive

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we are collecting food donations for people and pets. With the help of our Alumni, we will be preparing 100 Thanksgiving baskets on November 19 to donate to those in need, both in our school and our local community.

All items donated should be nonperishable, either canned or boxed, and can be dropped off now through Tuesday, November 18. Donations can be dropped off at the Primary and Middle School or High School Offices.

We have provided a list of recommended items by grade level that will be collected. No donation is too small, and we will accept any items, even if you choose to donate outside of your grade level.

Let's give thanks for our many blessings and give back to our other local families this holiday season.

Bring Your Talents to the Stage

Get ready to rock ’n’ roll! We’re thrilled to announce auditions at Holy Cross for our upcoming production of the musical Bye Bye Birdie — the classic musical bursting with energy, humor, and heart. Set in the swingin’ 1950s, this show follows rock star Conrad Birdie’s farewell tour and the hilarious chaos that follows in small-town America.

Auditions: Tuesday, December 2

Callbacks (by invitation): Wednesday, December 3

Auditions will consist of a vocal 32 bar cut (about 45 seconds of music) and cold reads from the script.

This is a chance to join a fun, fast-moving, and beloved musical with plenty of laughs and big personalities. Whether you're a seasoned performer or new to the stage — we want YOU to audition! Mark your calendars and get ready to bring this rock n'roll show to life!
