Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent teacher conferences will take place on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 5:007:30

p.m. Our aftercare services will not be available that day for students in Pre-K7th grade.

Holy Cross School uses online scheduling so parents can schedule conferences with up to

four teachers. Online registration for grades pre-K through 12 is open and will close at

8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026.

If you are unable to attend conferences, please email your son’s teachers directly. Our

teachers will work with you to schedule a call or a meeting at a later time.

Class and Club Photo Day

Class and Club Photo Day will take place this Tuesday, March 10. Please ensure your sons are neatly groomed and on time so they are in their class and club photos. For more information, please contact the Director of Student Service, Mr. Brian Kitchen.

Cookies for Cancer

We’ve recently kicked off our “Cookies for Cancer” fundraiser supporting Blood Cancer United (formerly the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society). Right now, students who buy a chocolate chip or M&M cookie at lunch are helping our cause as Pigeon Catering is giving a generous percentage to our team's fundraising efforts. They will also sell cookies after Friday afternoon’s Cleat Week Pep Rally for $2 (cash only).

What a great way to indulge and support at the same time!

Holy Cross Book Fair

We are excited to partner with Cavalier House Books for this year's Book Fair hosted by the Parents’ Club. The Book Fair will officially open in the Toomer Library on Monday, March 9, during our Parent Teacher Conferences, for parents to shop.

Students in Pre-K7th grades will attend the Book Fair during their assigned class time on Tuesday through Friday. Parents are invited to shop with their child during their scheduled time and should check in at the school office. High School students may visit and shop during their lunch period on Tuesday or Thursday. All purchases benefit the classroom libraries and Parents' Club.

Online gift certificates are recommended as the preferred shopping currency. Cash and credit cards will be accepted if a parent is present.

Join Us for Family Day Next Saturday!

Join the Holy Cross Faith Community next weekend as we celebrate 60 years of Family Day! In the Spring of 1966, the DiGrado and McCarthy families hosted what has become a memorable annual event for our community. The day will begin with Mass, followed by a special presentation honoring the families that created this highly anticipated tradition, and will continue with music, an all-you-can-eat crawfish cook-off, games, tuition drawing, food, performances, and more!

Join our Next Men's Club Meeting

The Men’s Club brings together men who share a common goal: to enrich the educational experience of our students while modeling Christian male piety, integrity, generosity, and commitment. Whether you're a new dad or a long-term member of the school community, you’ll find a welcoming place to connect, contribute, and grow. We invite you to learn more about this organization at our next meeting.

St. Joseph Altar Donations

On Thursday, March 19, we invite all family and friends to join us in celebrating the Feast of Saint Joseph, Patron Saint of our school, at our 9:00 a.m. Mass in the Student Center Arena. We will follow Mass with the blessing of the Saint Joseph Altar, located on the first floor of the Administration Building.

Last year, our tigers thoroughly enjoyed contributing to our altar, and we are excited to do it again! Below is a list of the items we need.

Items:

Cookies – Pre-K, K, and 5th grade

Cakes – 1st, 2nd, and 6th grades

Fresh Flowers – 3rd, 4th, and 7th grades

Fresh Fruit – 3rd, 4th, and 8th through 12th grades

Fresh Vegetables – 8th through 12th grades

Italian Bread – 8th through 12th grades

Financial Assistance – donations accepted from any grade level

We will start collecting donations on Monday, March 16, through Wednesday, March 18. Items will be collected during carpool or can be dropped off at the school offices. Families wishing to add a framed image of a deceased loved one to this year’s altar may drop it off during donation collection. Please tape a note to the back of the frame with your son’s first and last name and grade level. Images will be available for pickup after the altar dismantling on Thursday, March 19, or from the Middle and Primary School Office on Monday, March 23.

Upon completion of our Feast of Saint Joseph celebration, we are pleased to announce that we are partnering again with Ozanam Inn. All perishable items collected will be donated at the end of the day, Thursday, March 19, providing food for the homeless community. Please contact Mr. Logan Puissegur or Mrs. Natalie Adams with any questions.
