Spirit Shirt Days

Show your Tiger Pride on our first "Spirit Shirt Day" of the year when we cheer on our Tigers at a Pep Rally tomorrow, September 19, ahead of the Varsity Football game against Chalmette. All students will be allowed to wear any Holy Cross t-shirt and tennis shoes with their regulation school pants.

Then, mark your calendar for next Friday, September 26, when we will have a "Gold Shirt Day" to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. For a $5 donation, students will be allowed to wear any gold (or yellow) shirt and tennis shoes with their regulation school pants. Students may also wear any white or blue shirt with gold accents. Donations will be collected by the student's Primary or first-period teacher.

Closure Notice

Starting this Saturday, September 20, the Holy Cross Basketball Court and Gym will be closed for the week for annual maintenance.

The Student Center and The Huddle will remain open during this time. We appreciate your flexibility as this work is completed.

Parents Night Out

Parents, take a night off! Go on a date, go bowling with other parents from your son's class, or just enjoy some peace and quiet. We’ll make sure the boys are having fun with friends here at Holy Cross! Students in grades PreK through 7th are invited. We also welcome siblings (age 4+) to join in the fun.

Pizza, snacks, and drinks will be served, while indoor activities and outdoor play will be facilitated by members of our Student Council. It’s an evening of supervised, safe fun with friends placed in age-appropriate groups.

Pre-registration is required and tickets can be purchased HERE. It’s four hours of freedom for $40 and additional siblings are $10 each (excluding online fees).

Digital Ambassadors

Calling all 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students! Are you interested in social media content creation, sports journalism, or digital marketing? Come represent Holy Cross as a Digital Ambassador!

You will attend a Digital Bootcamp where you will learn best social media practices, tips for capturing great photos, and creating eye-catching graphics. You will also have the opportunity to work with communications professionals, and represent the Holy Cross brand by running one of our athletic accounts.

Most importantly, you will have the content needed to build a portfolio of work that can garner you internships or coveted spots on a digital team in your collegiate career. If interested, please email communications@hcnola.org and join us!

Join Us for Our Legacy Breakfast

We invite all Holy Cross Alumni and the young men in their lives to our Legacy Breakfast this Saturday, September 27. Enjoy a morning with your brothers and share with your sons, grandsons, nephews, and family friends the loyalty and devotion that have shaped each man into a Holy Cross Man. Reserve your spot now! Registration closes on Friday, September 26, at noon.

Commemorate the day with the young men in your life by purchasing a Legacy t-shirt from Stately Designs, a Holy Cross Alum and Family Company. The shirts come in both youth and adult sizes, and in three colors, ranging from $25-$28.

After the event, join us to cheer on our Tigers as they take on Edna Karr High School at Tad Gormley Stadium. The game kicks off at 2:00 p.m. Tickets for this game are not included in the event and must be purchased separately. Children 5 and under enter for free, and all Holy Cross students and Holy Cross Educators receive free entry to the game with their current school ID. Please review all Tad Gormley Stadium Information provided by City Park before attending the game.

We are less than a month away! Join us for the 2025 Holy Cross School Golf Tournament on October 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Bayou Oaks at City Park, located at 1040 Filmore Ave, New Orleans, LA 70124. This fun-filled day will not only feature a friendly competition among golf enthusiasts but also provide an opportunity to support our mission of enriching the lives of our students.

Rivalry Week is fast approaching! Join the Lady Tigers for their annual Rivalry Luncheon on Friday, October 3, at Landry's Restaurant. The pregame fun runs from 12:00 – 2:15 p.m.
