Celebrate a Spooktacular Halloween

We are still accepting candy donations until next Wednesday, October 29, for our upcoming Trunk or Treat. Please refrain from donating chocolate or candy containing nuts. All candy donations can be turned in to the High School or Primary & Middle School Offices.


Enjoy a Halloween Spirit Day next Friday. Our Students in PreK-11th grades can wear a Halloween shirt, school uniform pants, and tennis shoes. Seniors will be allowed to wear costumes (please note that prohibited costumes and accessories have already been communicated to students).

Take a Stand with Red Ribbon Week

Next week, Holy Cross will celebrate Red Ribbon Week, the nation's largest and longest-running drug-use prevention campaign. This annual campaign, created by National Family Partnership, aims to educate youth and encourage participation in drug-free activities.


Each day, students can participate by wearing the day's themed clothing article, regulation pants, and uniform shoes.

Deadline for Family Day Raffle Tickets is Approaching


The deadline to sell Family Day Raffle Tickets is next Wednesday, October 29, and we are halfway to our school goal!


Any student who meets his $75 individual goal by tonight, will receive a Holy Cross Spirit Day tomorrow, Friday, October 24. These students will be allowed to wear any Holy Cross t-shirt, regulation pants, and tennis shoes.


Each student who meets their $75 goal by October 29 will receive a Spirit Shirt Day on Friday, November 14. A school holiday on Friday, March 20, 2026, will be awarded to all students if the school's goal of $40,000 is met by October 29.


One $5,000 cash raffle prize will be awarded on Friday, October 31, 2025, and the winner will be notified by email that same day.

Individual grade-level pregame experiences are available, as well as the National Anthem provided by the Holy Cross Concordia Choir, and a game ball presentation with President Justin Fleetwood '91. Our Tiger Band will also perform outside the Smoothie King Center before the start of the game.

Join and support the Holy Cross Parents' Club for their upcoming Giveback Night next Tuesday, October 28, at the Chick-fil-A locations in Metairie on Airline and Severn and in Harvey!


Then, on Wednesday, October 29, families in and around the Slidell area can join them at the location on Gause Blvd. Please refer to the image above for times, as they vary by location. 


It will be a night of fun, community, and supporting the Holy Cross Parents' Club. A portion of all proceeds made on those dates and times will be donated back to the Parents' Club, as they continue to provide support to the students and HCEs at Holy Cross!
