Forgot to turn in your gift card? No worries! We are still accepting in-kind donations of gift cards to area restaurants and businesses in $25 increments for our Christmas Brunch.

Each student who brings in a $25 gift card will receive:

For Primary School

Socks and Stuffed Animal Day on Friday, December 5.

Gift cards can be dropped off at the office with Attention to Rachel Orkus and include the student's name. The extended deadline ends on Wednesday, December 3, so get yours in before it's too late.

Taco Tuesday Give Back

Once again, Holy Cross School will participate in #iGiveCatholic on Giving Tuesday.

#iGiveCatholic runs the annual U.S. Catholic Church's giving for Catholic organizations. Giving Tuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, falls on December 2, and is a global day of generosity.

Join us for the best day of the week  – Taco Tuesday!

Grab your friends and head over to Los Jefes Grill for a Holy Cross Give Back Night on Tuesday, December 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. at 3224 Edenborn Avenue, Metairie, LA 70002.

Mention Holy Cross School when ordering, and a portion of the proceeds will be given back to the school.

Bring Your Talents to the Stage

Get ready to rock ’n’ roll! We’re thrilled to announce auditions at Holy Cross for our upcoming production of the musical Bye Bye Birdie — the classic musical bursting with energy, humor, and heart. Set in the swingin’ 1950s, this show follows rock star Conrad Birdie’s farewell tour and the hilarious chaos that follows in small-town America.

Auditions: Tuesday, December 2

Callbacks (by invitation): Wednesday, December 3

3:30-5:30 p.m., Watson Family Theatre

Auditions will consist of a vocal 32 bar cut (about 45 seconds of music) and cold reads from the script. 

This is a chance to join a fun, fast-moving, and beloved musical with plenty of laughs and big personalities. Whether you're a seasoned performer or new to the stage — we want YOU to audition! Mark your calendars and get ready to bring this rock n'roll show to life!

Give a Holiday Legacy Gift

This holiday season, give a unique gift that continues the legacy of Holy Cross. Commemorative gifts are a meaningful way to honor lasting connections with Holy Cross School. Memorial Bricks and personalized Gazebo Bench Plaques offer a permanent tribute on campus, allowing families, alumni, or recent graduates to leave a visible mark in a symbolic space.

We encourage our Holy Cross Faith Community to encourage friends and family with Primary and Middle School-aged boys to join us for our upcoming Middle and Primary Open House on Tuesday, December 2, at 5:00 p.m., and Experience the Heart of Holy Cross!

Parents, due to preparations for our Open House, there will be no after-care service for PreK-7 on Tuesday, December 2.
