Future Staycation
With travel discouraged, Spartanburg's hotels and hospitality industry have been deeply affected by COVID-19 . But, you don't have to #VisitSpartanburg to support this industry and its workers! Order dinner meals to-go, curbside cocktail kits, and delicious desserts to eat at home without the baking hassle.
Many hotels and historic inns also offer certificates to redeem for future "staycations." Future-you could enjoy a luxurious night away from home, after so much time spent there now.
Little Free Libraries
Public libraries are closed, but there's still books you can borrow in Spartanburg. Little Free Libraries are a network of registered boxes, with books donated by community members. Borrowers of all ages can use the library; leave a book, take a book, or both. Make sure to disinfect your borrowed books before and after using the library!

New Cuisine In Town
Ecuadorian food has come to Spartanburg! La Tablita Grill (910 East Main St) is now open for takeout, 11am-6pm Monday-Saturday. The grill's menu is a combination of traditional Ecuadorian and Mexican dishes, such as ceviche, empanadas, carne asada plates, plantains, and fresh-squeezed juices. Call (864)345-2354 to order takeout.
Agencies Providing Assistance
The first COVID-19 stimulus checks have begun to arrive in South Carolina, but there are more ways to receive help in our community, should you need it. Many local agencies are assisting with rent, mortgage, bills, clothing, prescription access, nutritional needs, and more.
Shoot Your Shot
While community courts are closed, Parks and Recreation departments are challenging each other (and you!) to a virtual game of HORSE. Post a video of your best trick shot on a hoop at home, and tag @SpartanburgParks to play.
