Combined Missions Second Collection next weekend, January17–18
As part of the diocesan Combined Collections program, the collections for the Church in Latin America, the Church in Africa, Catholic Home Missions, and the United States Mission Collection have been brought together into one “second collection”. This collection will be taken up at all Masses next weekend, January17–18, here at Holy Family Catholic Church. Your generous support helps sustain the missionary work of the Church both locally and around the world, allowing the Holy Family Catholic Church community to participate in spreading the Gospel and serving communities in need.
There will be two collections next weekend, the weekly collection and this second collection. Please hold on to your envelope/donation until the second collection.
Thank you for your continued generosity and faithful support of the Church’s mission.

The Baptism of the Lord
As Jesus steps into the waters of the Jordan, He enters fully into our humanity—not because He needs cleansing, but to sanctify the waters for us. The heavens open, the Spirit descends, and the Father proclaims, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.” In this beautiful moment, we are reminded of our own Baptism, when we too were claimed as beloved children of God. May this feast renew our joy, strengthen our identity in Christ, and inspire us to live each day as sons and daughters called to reflect His love to the world.
