Hello, Holy Family!
I think that at Holy Family, we are largely very adjusted to our "new normal" with new staff throughout our buildings. While adjustment to new norms can take time and take some work, it feels like there is just so much good happening around every corner.
In our elementary, our new principal, Heather Williams, was able to meet many of you at back to school night, and no doubt will meet many more at conferences next week. Her natural ability to take on new challenges with a growth mindset is a huge blessing to our school, and it is a joy to work with her. I am certain that the more our community knows her, the more her gifts will continue to shine!
In the middle school, Monica Robinson has almost seamlessly stepped into her new leadership role. The staff really seem to appreciate her capacity to support them in their work, as do I. She is a force for good, whose positive presence is being felt throughout the school, even more than last year.
The new staff in each building are also bringing new gifts to our proud Holy Family tradition. It has already been a fall full of graces, and I could not be more thankful.
God bless your family and our school all year long!
Zach Zeckser

Holy Family Scrip News
"I order SCRIP cards to be used during Christmas. I order a small amount of cards each month and use the cards to purchase Christmas gifts rather than using my credit card!"
This is what one of our Scrip users has to say about our program. What a great idea! And to help with that, they just announced that some companies will have their $5 and $10 cards until December 23; great for stocking stuffers, grab bags, donations to local shelters and giving trees! See the link below for more details.
Our next Scrip order is due Monday, October 21 at 9am.

New 8th Grade Schedules Starting 2nd Quarter:
Staring 2nd Quarter, 8th grade will have a wonderful new schedule. Our 8th grade will be divided into three groups for all classes! This will mean more individualized attention for students in this large class. In addition, 8th graders will now have an additional specialist time. Our wonderful middle school counselor, Amber Waring, will offer an enrichment period for counseling. This will include a number of focus areas such as general guidance, career counseling, and financial literacy. Thank you to our amazing middle school staff for always looking for ways to best serve and lead our students!

On Monday, Athletic Director, Jason Dole, will meet with students in winter sports to share with them expectations from our newly drafted student athlete code of conduct. The code of conduct will go into effect starting Monday. Previous consequences will not pertain. Students at the meeting will receive a hard copy of the code of conduct and will be instructed to share it with families. This will be posted to the school web site as well. Thank you, Mr. Dole, for your work in drafting this tool to help our student-athletes become the best versions of themselves!
