Hello, Holy Family!
One of my favorite events at school, as odd as it may sound, has always been conferences. For all 19 of my years of employment in Catholic schools, Yesterday, and again tomorrow, you all are coming here to school to examine the growth of your children in partnership with the staff here at Holy Family. Engaged parents that are in a collaborative partnership with a school that serves and leads the whole child, is a recipe for wonderful development of the children that God entrusts to us. Thank you for taking time to communicate during conferences and throughout the year. There are few things in the world more rewarding than witnessing children growing into the best version of themselves. We are humbled and honored to share this work with you!
God bless your family and our school all year long!

Holy Family Scrip News
"I order SCRIP cards to be used during Christmas. I order a small amount of cards each month and use the cards to purchase Christmas gifts rather than using my credit card!"
This is what one of our Scrip users has to say about our program. What a great idea! And to help with that, they just announced that some companies will have their $5 and $10 cards until December 23; great for stocking stuffers, grab bags, donations to local shelters and giving trees! See the link below for more details.
Our next Scrip order is due Monday, November 4th at 9am.

Sharing germs starts again!
We have had some lingering illnesses. Please try to let staff know why your child is staying home so we know what is out there. Children should remain at home until they are fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication. If your child is vomiting or having diarrhea they should remain at home until they are tolerating their diet without vomiting or diarrhea for 24 hours. The best defense against illness is good hand washing. Hands should be washed before eating food, after toileting, and any time they are soiled. Also, wash hands after coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose. Hand sanitizers are a good option when you don't have water and soap available. If medication is needed at school it must be in the original container and marked with the child's name. A medication administration form must be completed even for over the counter medications. We are hoping for a healthy school year for everyone. Remember germs are not for sharing!
Happy Halloween St. Jude Families!
You are invited to share your Halloween creativity by bringing a
family
