"If a tiny spark of God’s love already burns within you,
do not expose it to the wind, for it may get blown out.
Stay quiet with God. Do not spend your time in useless chatter.
Do not give yourself to others so completely
that you have nothing left for yourself."

Hello, Holy Family!
In some ways, it feels like Easter is all around us (nevermind all of the rain)! Enrollment numbers are looking very promising, and the new LaSalle teachers (whom we will introduce to you soon) that we are hiring seem really excellent!
One other Easter egg, if you will, is our new
Positively Family podcast that starts today! The podcast will largely be a fun way for us to share the updates from the Holy Family Happenings. I will host the podcast myself each Friday afternoon. We will often bring in guests such as faculty, staff, students, and parents, and we will add some fun bits such as quick getting-to-know-you activities, personal recaps from student events, and the occasional prize for listeners, too! You can feel free to listen to it from any digital device in your car, doing the dishes, on a jog, etc. (It is easiest to click on the link above or to search for Positively Family in your preferred podcast medium - we are on all of them - and then click
subscribe. This will make sure you get an alert each Friday afternoon/evening when the most recent episode is posted.) . Ultimately, the goal is to help Holy Family increase our connectivity. I hope you find it to be fun and engaging. If people find it to be offer value, we will repeat each week!
Finally, thank you for joining me in expressing great appreciation for our staff during teacher appreciation next week! (Details on that are below).

8th GRADE RAYS OF HOPE MISSION TRIP for LA SALLE
On the weekend of April 26-28, 33 LaSalle 8th graders and a dynamic team of adult and young adult leaders shared their gifts of time, talent, hard work, faith, and positive energy by serving the poor, elderly, hungry, and homeless in Omaha, Nebraska. Rays of Hope - the annual spring mission trip sponsored by LaSalle Campus Ministry - was an incredible opportunity for our 8th grade students to experience life in the inner-city, to share work, prayer, and fun times as part of a supportive Christian community, and to better understand and live out their responsibility to serve others as Jesus did. We applaud all of these wonderful young people for their generous service as well as their enthusiastic faith witness...please keep all of them in prayer.
In the Peace of Christ,
Bob Gardner
Campus Minister / 6th-8th Religion Teacher
