Hello, Holy Family!
I hope your children had a great first week of academia! This week we began to pour into the academic work that consume the great majority of our year. By all accounts, it sounds like we are off to a strong start. Of course there is always a lot to do, but we are starting from a good place!
Part of our strong start, is our foundation in faith. It was such a blessing today to have mass with Fr. Ivan and several guests who joined us in the LaSalle Chapel today. This was followed by 5 hours of Eucharistic adoration. What a gift! Our students spent time throughout the day visiting the blessed Sacrament in the chapel. For many this was new exposure, so they may have questions or comments to share with you at home!
With faithfulness often come graces from God, and I am pleased to repeat that we are a growing school this year. Further, we already have ten families interested in enrolling children this school year or next. It is a very exciting time to be part of this community. I really appreciate so many of our families who contribute their gifts of skills and resources to help us continue to strengthen and sustain Holy Family in our mission. It is a real joy to see families coming by school to volunteer, to pray, and to contribute so much this important partnership.
Please continue to share Holy Family with others! You can either leave a
review on our Facebook page or on
google page. This can be very quick and easy, and it really helps! Let's keep this great momentum going!
Finally, did you know you can listen to this newsletter each week with the added bonus of getting to know our staff? Listen and subscribe to the
Positively Family podcast.
Thank you!
God bless your family and our school all year long!

Welcome back! We are excited to kick off our Scrip program for the year. Scrip is a fundraising program where you buy gift cards at face value and then a percentage is donated back to the school and to you. Here is a short video on how it works.

FAST TESTING
: The FAST screening window will begin September 9th and runs through October 4th for Kindergarten through 4th grade students. During this time students will be given screening assessments to help us know which students may need additional support. The students complete screening assessments three times each year. These assessments help teachers see which students are likely to meet the end of year learning goals, and which ones need more help. Please be sure your students get adequate rest and nutrition during the screening window.
Dress Code Reminder:
I like to have a dress code reminder each month. This month we will be focusing on Shirts. Shirts must be tucked in. Please remind your kiddos before school to have their shirts tucked in before they walk into the building.
Morning Drop-Off Reminder:
Students (K-4) not attending daycare must go directly to the cafeteria/gym in the morning with their backpacks as teachers are attending to morning duties. Preschool students may be taken directly to their classrooms in the morning and afternoon.
Food Service: Breakfast and lunch are available at both centers. Parents may deposit money into their students’ account any time by dropping money or checks off at the office or sent to school with their child. Each family will have their meal balance electronically e-mailed to them. Meal menus are provided to each family on a monthly basis and posted on our Holy Family website. Students may bring their own lunch if they prefer. FAST FOOD MAY NOT BE BROUGHT IN DURING THE BREAKFAST/LUNCH PERIOD.
