TONIGHT (3/27)!

What a beautiful way to walk with our Lord!

As Palm Sunday Approaches

As we draw near to Palm Sunday, the Church gently invites us to step into the sacred rhythm of Holy Week, a journey that begins in triumph and leads us through sacrifice, love, and ultimate redemption.

“Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”

These joyful cries will echo once more as Jesus enters Jerusalem, welcomed as King… yet we know how quickly those voices will change. Palm Sunday reminds us of the fragile nature of human hearts—but even more, it reveals the steadfast, unchanging love of Christ.

He enters not with power or force, but in humility.

He accepts not a throne, but a Cross.

And He does it all for us.

As we receive our palms this weekend, may we not only hold them in our hands, but carry their meaning in our hearts. Let them be a sign of our willingness to walk with Jesus—not only in moments of praise, but also in moments of sacrifice, trust, and surrender.

This is a time to slow down…to reflect…to return more fully to Him.

May this Palm Sunday open the door to a deeply grace-filled Holy Week, where we walk closely with Christ, and allow His love to transform us.

Hosanna in the highest… and may our hearts remain faithful all the way to Easter.

Parish Picnic – Sunday, April 26th @ 5 PM – 7:30 PM

Our Parish Picnic is here on Sunday, April 26th! We'll have food, games, and good ol' fashioned fellowship on the last Sunday in April from 5 PM – 7:30 PM. Come relax just before we hit the annual busy season of May which brings First Communions, Mother's Day, Confirmations, and Graduations.

Please R.S.V.P. at the link below to let us know how many people from your family will attend and also what food you'll bring to share. The ideas listed are simply suggestions; please feel free to bring anything you think others in your Holy Family will enjoy! :)

Parish Picnic R.S.V.P.

The parish is providing the hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, and condiments so it's incredibly helpful to please R.S.V.P. This will give us an approximation of how many people we look forward to joining in the fun.

We intentionally picked a Sunday evening while Youth Ministry was still in session so please bring those middle/high school students and get some dinner before heading inside for Edge and/or LifeTeen!

Fasting and Abstinence – Good Friday

On Good Friday, the Church invites the faithful to observe both fasting and abstinence as a way of uniting ourselves more closely to the Passion of Christ.

Abstinence (from meat):

·        All Catholics 14 years of age and older are obliged to abstain from eating meat.

Fasting:

·        All Catholics ages 18 through 59 are obliged to fast.

·     Fasting allows for one full meal during the day.

·     Two smaller meals may be taken if needed, but together they should not equal

a full meal.

·     No eating between meals is permitted.

Additional Notes:

·        Those who are ill, pregnant, nursing, or otherwise unable to fast are excused.

Catholics are encouraged to embrace prayer, penance, and works of charity on this solemn day. These practices help us enter more deeply into the mystery of Christ’s sacrifice and prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter.

Alan Ames — Mass, Talk & Healing Service

What a beautiful and grace-filled evening! This past Tuesday, 460 people gathered in faith. What a powerful testament to a community seeking the Lord.

It was truly an event to remember: the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the gift of Reconciliation, the quiet presence of Adoration, the comfort of the Rosary, Alan's wonderful witness and the outpouring of healing grace. Each moment offered a meaningful encounter with Christ, drawing hearts closer to His mercy and love.

Praise God for opportunities like this where souls are renewed, burdens are lifted, and faith is strengthened. May the fruits of this holy night continue to grow in every heart, and may we carry that same spirit of devotion with us as we approach the promise and joy of Easter

God is so good, and His presence among us is truly a blessing.
