Holy Family Catholic Church

The Holy Family Parish Newsletter is here to help keep you informed about many of the wonderful activities happening within our parish. We are a vibrant and active community!!!

To view our parish website, simply click the “Visit Our Website” link below! Changes are being made weekly to our website!

On this Third Friday of Lent, we journey through Lent and are reminded that this season is not only about sacrifice, but about drawing closer to God. Through prayer, fasting, and acts of charity, our hearts are slowly shaped to become more like the heart of Jesus Christ.

Even when our Lenten journey feels challenging, God meets us with mercy and love. Each small step of faith, kindness, and repentance brings us closer to Him.

May this Lenten Friday invite us to pause, trust in God’s grace, and open our hearts more fully to His transforming love.

Mass at 6:00 p.m.

Priests’ Retirement and

Benefits Collection

For decades, our priests have faithfully guided and cared for us. Next weekend’s second collection (March 14–15) helps provide pension and healthcare support for retired priests in the Diocese of Charlotte, including those from religious communities and other dioceses. Thank you for your generosity in caring for those who have given so much.

Online Giving Enrollment Drive –

March 7th & 8th

Have you been meaning to switch to Online Giving for your weekly Offertory (and other contributions) but either keep forgetting or maybe don’t know how? If so, please stop by the Curlin Center Concourse after all Masses THIS WEEKEND (March 7th & 8th). Parish staff & trained volunteers will either help walk you step-by-step to enroll yourself in the parish’s Online Giving system or will happily do it for you if you prefer. They’ll also be available to answer questions or discuss the value of an encrypted, secure system that gives you the flexibility of giving at your convenience and knowing that your gift is processed rapidly and available to be used for its intended purpose right away. EASTER FLOWERS

Honor or remember a loved one this Easter with a donation toward the flowers that will beautifully adorn our sanctuary. Names of those honored (living or deceased) will be listed in the Easter bulletin.

Please use the envelope in your offertory packet and place it in the regular collection basket by Sunday, March 22. Be sure to include the names of those you wish to honor and indicate whether they are living or deceased.

Thank you for helping our church bloom with beauty as we celebrate the joy of Easter!

Adoration 101

March 11th at 6:30

Eucharistic Adoration is an incredible way to spend time with the LORD and deepen your relationship with The Almighty - but many don’t know how to participate. Attending this Adoration “primer” will change that for you. Whether you’ve never been to Adoration or you’ve already been going for decades, please join us THIS WEDNESDAY, March 11th from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM in the Family Center as we discuss the “HOWs”, the “WHYs”, and most importantly the “WHO” of Adoration. Spending intentional time before the King of the Universe reminds us of who we are and whose we are.  And thanks to Daylight Savings Timeit will still be light on the drive home! God is good. (leonard@holyfamilyclemmons.com / 336.778.0600 x223)

Looking for a beautiful and enriching way to enter more deeply into Lent?

Join us on Saturday, March 14th (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) for the Columbiettes Sponsored Ladies Lenten Retreat — a day set apart for prayer, reflection, and renewal.

This year, Fr. Juan Miguel Sanchez and Sr. Archana will lead us in drawing closer to God and deepening our love for the Eucharist. Through inspiring talks, meaningful fellowship, and quiet moments with the Lord, you will be invited to slow down, listen, and allow Christ to gently refresh your heart.

Step away from the noise of everyday life and enter into a sacred space where grace can meet you personally and powerfully.

Come ready to be renewed.

Come ready to be nourished.

Come ready to grow closer to Him.

Registration is $30.00 and you can register right here at Holy Family Parish weekdays between now and Tuesday, March 10th.

Confession 101

March 18th @ 10 AM

Do you want to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation but you're hesitant since you've "been away too long?" Or do you regularly attend and are instead looking for tips on how to better prepare? Or are you somewhere in between? Join us Wednesday, March 18th for a day-time session from 10 AM – 11:15 AM in the Family Center as Fr. Peter guides us on how to prepare for Reconciliation and gives us a behind-the-scenes look at this wonderful gift of Divine Healing. A variety of Examinations of Conscience will be provided and the event will also include live demonstrations to illustrate various penitent "stereotypes." Attend this review and prepare for your next Reconciliation with confidence. CALLING ALL PARISHIONERS

Help spruce up our church grounds for spring! On Saturday, March 21 at 9:00 a.m., volunteers are needed to spread 120 yards of mulch around the parish property. Come for a few hours in the morning or early afternoon — any help is appreciated!

Please bring wheelbarrows, rakes, pitchforks, pails, and gloves (wheelbarrows and pitchforks are especially helpful) and label your equipment. Kindly park away from the mulch piles so volunteers have easy access.

Snacks and drinks will be provided.

This parish-wide effort is coordinated by the Saint Francis Club.
