A Prayer for Mother's Day

Heavenly Father

On this Mother’s Day, we thank You for the precious gift of mothers, whose love reflects Your own tender care. Bless all mothers with strength, patience, and deep joy in their vocation. Fill their hearts with Your peace and surround them with Your grace in every moment.

Through the loving intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary, may they be guided in faith, hope, and charity. May their sacrifices be seen, their love be returned, and their lives be filled with the light of Your Son, Jesus.

Grant comfort to mothers who are struggling, hope to those who long to be mothers, and eternal rest to those who have gone before us.

We entrust all mothers to Your loving care, Lord, and ask that You bless them abundantly today and always. Amen.

Happy Mother’s Day to all our beloved mothers!

We joyfully congratulate the Holy Family Religious Education students who received their First Holy Communion last weekend. May the grace of Jesus in the Eucharist fill your hearts with peace, wonder, and a lifelong love for His presence.

Your parish family celebrates with you and prays that this sacred moment becomes the foundation of a deep and enduring friendship with Christ.

Overnight Adoration

Thursday May 14th

May 14th 9:30 AM – May 15th 8:30 AM

Holy Family is hosting overnight Adoration on May 14th into May 15th to give everyone more time to pray on the kneelers for the new seminarians. This is in addition to the regularly scheduled daytime Thursday Adoration so all are welcome to spend time with our Lord at ANY HOUR of the day OR NIGHT. See you there!

Questions? (leonard@holyfamilyclemmons.com / 336.778.0600 x223)

The Eucharistic Congress Committee would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our bake sale! Because of your generosity, we raised $1,200, which will help offset transportation costs for this year’s Eucharistic Congress in Charlotte on September 12th.

We sold out of baked goods early—what a blessing! If you would still like to support our efforts, you can help by visiting Holy Family’s online store. There are many wonderful items available, including hats, T-shirts, stainless steel tumblers, water bottles, coffee mugs, and more (see above). A portion of the proceeds will go toward helping cover the cost of attending the Congress.

Thank you again for supporting our annual pilgrimage! If you are interested in joining us for the Eucharistic Congress, please contact Cheryl Darcy for more information at 336-577-2606 or crhoades818@gmail.com

Baby Bottle Campaign Begins on Mother’s Day

Support the Baby Bottle Campaign and help women facing unplanned pregnancies. Your generosity provides essential resources such as pregnancy center information, crisis counseling, free ultrasounds, and abortion pill reversal. These materials are shared through Holy Family and at pro‑life events like the Respect Life booth at the Carolina Classic Fair.

Baby bottles will be distributed after all Masses beginning on Mother’s Day.

Please take one home and use it as a way to start a family conversation about the gift of life and our call to protect it. Your kindness makes a real and lasting difference.
