Holy Family Catholic Church

The Holy Family Parish Newsletter is here to help keep you informed about many of the wonderful activities happening within our parish. We are a vibrant and active community!!!

To view our parish website, simply click the “Visit Our Website” link below! Changes are being made weekly to our website!

On this First Friday of Lent, as we journey more deeply into this sacred season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, may we fix our eyes upon the Sacred Heart of Jesus, pierced and burning with love for us. Let our small sacrifices be lovingly united to His perfect sacrifice on the Cross. May our hunger remind us that nothing on this earth can satisfy us but Him, and may our repentance humbly open the door to His boundless mercy.

No Meat on Fridays During Lent!

Why not join your Holy Family community for a wonderful night of Faith, Food and Lenten Love?

Start your night at the Knights of Columbus sponsored Fish Fry for yummy fish, fries, slaw, hush puppies and more! The Fish Fry begins TONIGHT 2/20 at 5:30!

Not a fan of fish? No problem join us at 6:00 p.m. in the Holy Spirit Chapel for Mass and Stations of the Cross (bi-lingual) What a special way to journey with our Lord during Lent.

You know that we have moved the pick-up for Brunswick Stew until Saturday, March 7th, but did you know that if you forgot to order yours or are wishing you ordered more you are in luck?!?!?

There is a container labelled Brunswick Stew in the concourse for your order needs. Put your order form in the bucket and enjoy fresh cooked Brunswick stew ready to be picked up on Saturday, March 7th!

Adoration 101 March 11th at

6:30 PM

Eucharistic Adoration is an incredible way to spend time with the LORD and deepen your relationship with The Almighty. Whether you’ve never been to Adoration or you’ve already been going for decades, please join us on Wednesday, March 11th from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM in the Family Center as we work through the “HOWs”, the “WHYs”, and most importantly the “WHO” of Adoration. All disciples are equal at the feet of Jesus. Make the choice at this halfway point during Lent to seek the LORD. Spending intentional time before the King of the Universe reminds us of who we are and whose we are. God is good! (leonard@holyfamilyclemmons.com / 336.778.0600 x223)

Online Giving Enrollment Drive –

March 7th & 8th

Have you been meaning to switch to Online Giving for your weekly Offertory (and other contributions) but either keep forgetting or maybe don’t know how? If so, please stop by the Curlin Center Concourse after all Masses on the weekend of March 7th & 8th. Parish staff & trained volunteers will either help walk you step-by-step to enroll yourself in the parish’s Online Giving system or will happily do it for you if you prefer. They’ll also be available to answer questions or discuss the value of an encrypted, secure system that gives you the flexibility of giving at your convenience and knowing that your gift is processed rapidly and available to be used for its intended purpose right away. Cereal & Food Drive – February

The Knights of Columbus have placed a collection box in the back of the church for the month of February to support the Clemmons Food Pantry and Clemmons Elementary School.

Most-needed items include: 1 lb. bags of rice and beans, peanut butter, jelly/jam, canned tuna or chicken, cooking oil, flour, canned pasta with meat, canned fruit, salt, snack crackers or granola bars, and canned soups with meat.

Unopened boxes of cereal are especially needed! Clemmons Elementary’s goal is to collect 2,500 boxes, which will be displayed in a fun domino setup throughout the school.

Please help support these wonderful efforts—every donation helps feed a neighbor in need!

"Beast" shredder event is returning on Sat. March 21st to our Church parking lot. The event is hosted by the Knights of Columbus and will run from 9:00 until noon. Suggested donations are $5.00 per paper grocery bag, $10.00 per box and checks may be made payable to the Knights. Paper only please. No metal of any kind will be accepted (ring binders, spiral bound, binder clips, etc.) except paper clips and staples. Come and watch the "Beast" eat!

Circle of St. Joseph - Foster Family Collection Drive

The Circle of St. Joseph invites you to join us in collecting new clothing & bedding items to support children entering foster care in our community this March. These thoughtful donations will be delivered directly to the Fostering Families Resource Center on the Crossnore campus.

Please visit our table in the Narthex after all masses the weekend of February 28th. We’ll be handing out flowers with clothing sizes and ages listed—simply take a flower and return the items by March 16th to the labelled box in the Narthex.

Your kindness and generosity bring comfort, dignity, and hope to every child entering care. Thank you for being a blessing to these children and the families who nurture them.
