Dear Holy Name Families,

Please remember that we have a General Parent Guild Meeting TONIGHT at 6 pm . Our agenda will include updates and information regarding our Crab Fest, Auction, Cookie Run, plus I will be giving some highlights from the WCEA/WASC survey results and other information for the remaining portion of the school year. So much has taken place since we all last met and it will be good to see you again!

Thank you to all those families who came to the SC-HN Boys Basketball Tournament at SI on Sunday! Your Panther Spirit was certainly on display! Please remember that our Catholic Schools Week Mass and Open House is on Sunday, January 26th starting at 9:30 am with a liturgy celebrated by the student body. We also hope to see you at the Holy Name Crab Fest on Saturday, February 1st - get your tickets while you can!

Please know that if you have any questions, comments, or concerns - please feel free to visit, call, or email me at any time! Holy Name is an amazing place to be!

AMDG: Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam

Although the life of a person is in a land full of thorns and weeds, there is always a space in which the good seed can grow. You have to trust God." "Let us pray for peace: peace in the world and in each of our hearts." "God's love calls us to move beyond fear .” ~ Pope Francis

This week's collection will benefir the Raphael House organization. The mission of Raphael House is to help at-risk families achieve stable housing and financial independence while strengthening family bonds and personal dignity. In 1971, Raphael House served as an emergency shelter for single mothers and their children. In order to grow and help more local families, the shelter moved to the former Golden Gate Hospital in 1977, becoming the first homeless shelter for families in Northern California.
Thank you for your kind donations.

Please SLOW DOWN, STOP, and LOOK... As many of you are making resolutions for the new year, please remember to stay patient and courteous in the mornings and at dismissal. We live in a hurried world, but the safety of our children will always remain our highest priority. Please be respectful of each other on the road, follow the guidelines of drop off/pick up, and be thoughtful of actions as the children are always watching.
We are excited to host the Crab Fest again this year! Please sign up to help make this a fun-filled evening for our parish, school and preschool communities. We hope to see you there.
