PRINCIPAL'S LETTER

Dear Holy Name Families,

I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far. A big congratulations to all of our 8th graders for their performance of Aladdin this past weekend- what a huge success it was! We are so proud of our students. Thank you to all the parents last week who led a special celebration for our teachers and families. We are so happy that you are part of our Holy Name community!

A big thank you to the Kindergarten and 1st grade families for such a wonderful Teacher Appreciation lunch today- we all enjoyed it very much and can't wait for leftovers tomorrow! Thank you for organizing something so nice for us. Throughout this month of Teacher Appreciation I would like to ask that you have your child take a few minutes at home to write a card to his or her teacher- our teachers truly treasure cards from students, and it would be so great for our teachers to feel the love from their students!

Tomorrow is $3 Free Dress and Outshine Popsicle Day! Our Holy Name Giants Night is this Friday, May 10th. Please turn in your ticket forms to purchase tickets. This Saturday our Preschool is sponsoring our Family Fun Day from 11AM-2PM. Please see below for more information Next Thursday we will have a special Living Rosary at 1:15PM in the church. We are in need of help for our 8th Grade Graduation Social and our Mother-Daughter Tea. To volunteer to help with these events please click the links below:
Each year our parent community is asked to complete a survey on two Catholic Identity standards . Your feedback is very important to us both so we know where we can continue to make improvements and because our accreditation visitors like to see strong parent involvement and feedback. Please click here to complete this year's survey which ask us to reflect on the school mission and philosophy and the parents as primary educators. Please complete this by next Friday.

Please click here to visit our website for two new employment opportunities. We are looking to hire a part-time 2nd Grade Aide and a part-time K-8 Art Teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. If you or anyone you know is interested in the positions please send me a resume and cover letter. Thanks for helping to spread the word about these two positions.

We hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week!

Thanks,
Natalie
