Dear Holy Name Families,

The grace of the Holy Spirit permeates through the Holy Name Community. Our school will be  celebrating the annual Spirit Mass, led by the school leadership of Student Council members. They chose the theme of Love. I could not think of a more perfect word that would connect Holy Name School to its Parish. Love is the awesome representation of what brings community together. After the Spirit Mass begins the annual International Food Fest that brings a whole new love of community spirit, one that enriches the taste buds and fills the stomach. It is an event that brings members of our school, our Parish, our neighborhood, our city together. The love of food and the love of God truly brings the Holy Spirit to the Holy Name Community today. Please join us after Mass and share the love of good food, good friends, and good neighbors!

If your son / daughter has not been baptized and would like to join the Catholic faith community here at HN please reach out to their homeroom teacher as soon as possible.

If your son / daughter has been baptized in a different location and would like to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion please let the homeroom teacher know also. If your son / daughter has received Baptism and Communion the next sacrament is Confirmation (taken by students in 7th grade). Students must be age appropriate to receive the sacraments.

At Holy Name everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing all of you at the schools Spirit Mass on Sunday September 15th 2019.

No matter where the road of life takes us every day, we pray that we find a piece of heaven in every place we go and in everything we do.
Enjoy the piece of heaven we are in now and help create a piece of heaven on earth by works of charity and justice.
Be a channel of God's grace.

GOD BLESS us all!

Hello Holy Name Parents! My name is Angela Yip and I'm thrilled to be our school's Box Tops for Education™ Coordinator.

Box Tops is an easy way to help earn cash for our school. Each one is worth 10¢ for our school! Just look for the pink Box Tops on hundreds of products. All you have to do is clip them and send them to school. You can place the Box Tops in the special Box Tops box in Extended Care. The lifetime earnings for the school was $3900.00 for our school from Box Tops. This school year with your help, we hope to get more earnings!

Box Tops is modernizing the program for the next generation of participants. At its core, the Box Tops for Education program structure and purpose remain the same - to help schools get what they need. The physical clips are going away eventually, and the Box Tops program will become digital-only. Instead of clipping, checking expirations dates, bundling and submitting, all Box Tops will be earned digitally via receipt scan. You can download the user-friendly Box Tops app, register and select Holy Name School at , and then scan an eligible receipt containing Box Tops products. You'll continue to earn 10 cents for each Box Tops product purchased plus extra earnings for any Bonus Box Tops opportunities. The app will automatically add Box Tops to Holy Name's earnings online, giving you access as to how you are supporting the school in real-time. Box Tops will still continue to honor all physical clips until they reach their expiration dates so please continue sending your clipped Box Tops to school. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm here to help make our school's Box Tops for Education™ program a huge success this year.
