Holy One Of Israel!!! 3/8/26
Isaiah 31:1
1Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; And stay on horses, And trust in chariots, because they are many; And in horsemen, because they are very strong; But they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, Neither seek the Lord!

It is 11:24 AM, Sunday, March 8-PRAISE THE LORD FOR AWAKWNING AGAIN!!
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS DAY CHANGE!!!
It, DAYLIGHT SAVING DAY CHANGE got me this year. I had to go back to bed to try to recoup the sleep that I “lost.”
I AWOKE, (see the above), to a gloomy, overcast Georgia day after enduring a disturbing nightmare-not a very good start to any day......
Our Bible CLEARLY states-
2 Timothy 3:1 (KJV 1900)
1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
But, clearly, I, for one, failed and still fail to perfectly and fully understand what “perilous times” actually entails.
And YES, the world events, as foretold, are CLEARLY unfolding just as Jesus Spoke of in Matthew 24.
On every front, WE, as human beings, AND as Christians, especially for those of us aged, our lives are constantly and consistently being challenged by unseen and unexpected trouble and trial.
2 Corinthians 4:8–10 (KJV 1900)
8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
It seems as if, just as we conquer and defeat one devil and/or trial, another erupts SUDDENLY!!!!
Can I get at least ONE amen from ALL of you reading this today???????
AND, as the above Scripture says, it-trouble and trial-comes out of seemingly nowhere?

BUT, and this is a BIG “but”.........
Psalm 121:1–2 (KJV 1900)
1I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help.
2My help cometh from the Lord, Which made heaven and earth.
May I gently remind YOU that, ULTIMATELY.......
“MY (OUR) HELP COMETH FROM THE LORD- ie.
THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHEN, NOT IF-
ALL things we HAD depended on and trusted in, including friends and loved ones, including doctors and lawyers, politicians, and people, fail us AND we have NO HOPE of deliverance WE MUST
“LOOK UNTO THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL.”
As spoken above by the Prophet Isaiah, EGYPT cannot be counted upon!!!
Strong horses and abundant supply of chariots will not save us!!
Jeremiah 17:5 (KJV 1900)
5Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.
I don't like this Verse or encourage ANYONE to:
James 1:2–3 (KJV 1900)
2My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But, may I opine this???
Perhaps, our troubles and trials ARE really given us to cause us to turn more fully to the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL!!!!!!????
Perhaps, our loving and wise God knowingly allows our troubles to turn to Him more fully and completely?????
“TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS!! LOOK FULL IN HIS WONDERFUL FACE.
AND THE THINGS OF EARTH WILL GO STRANGELY DIM
IN THE LIGHT OF HIS GLORY AND GRACE!!!!”
Jeremiah 29:11–13 (KJV 1900)
11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
