This weekend we celebrate the Great Feast of “The Most Holy Trinity.”
It is a concept that is far beyond our capabilities to fully understand, yet it plays an integral part in our Christian lives every day. For our Christian lives begin with our baptism, where the priest or deacon baptizes us in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and all the other sacraments will invoke their intercession as well.
The Trinity and Eucharist are the pinnacles of our faith, and we should visit each of them often. Asking them to enlighten us, comfort us, strengthen us, and wrap us in their love.
So, on this great Feast of the Trinity, listen a little more attentively to the words of the mass. And ask the trinity to fill your heart, mind, and soul with love. Love for the Trinity and all our sisters and brothers.
